Apex Property, a Hong Kong-affiliated real estate development company (5-1-4 Toranomon, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Managing Director Sylvia Tang), is planning to develop a luxury chalet area referred to as “Hanacreek” in Kutchan Town. The company will begin to develop 68 lots for residential and other use in 2021 and start construction in 2023. The contractor will be decided in the future.
The construction site is Iwaobetsu 262-1, Kutchan, and is located about 2 km east of Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono, which opened in January. The development area is planned to be 168,766 m2.
Kou Design Consultant is in charge of civil engineering design. The land preparation contractor will be selected in the future. Land preparation will begin in 2021 to create 67 residential lots and one clubhouse lot.
One building will be built in each lot, and the entire area will be divided into three construction sections. Construction of 17 two- or three-story chalets with a total floor area of approximately 400 to 450 m2 in Section 1 will start in 2023. The scale of the chalets in other sections and the clubhouse, which is planned to be built in Section 2 and has commercial facilities, is yet to be decided, but the project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025.
Architectural design will be led by Riccardo Tossani Architecture (Tokyo). The same contractor will be in charge of every construction section.
According to a project official, the land sales price per lot is expected to be over 100 million yen. The target is assumed to be not only overseas but also domestic buyers.
