Shinrin GK (1-1, Kita 1-jo Nishi 1-chome, Kutchan), established by private investors from Singapore, plans to build 26 villas in the Yamada district of Kutchan Town. Land preparation is scheduled to begin in June, and the contractor will be decided in the future.
The planned construction site is a 5-ha area in 3-1, Yamada. The company will sell 26 lots of land for villas along the Rankoshi Niseko Kutchan Line of the prefectural road and build one villa on each lot. It aims to complete land preparation by the end of November 2023.
Construction is slated to begin in the spring of 2024. The structure of each villa has not yet been decided, but it is expected to be a one- or two-story building with a total floor area of 200 to 400 m2. The land purchaser will individually select the design and builder.
Frantz Slater Design Collective (headquartered in the U.K.), whose Japan office is in Sapporo, will be responsible for project management.
Director Andrew Slater of the company says, “We aim to complete the entire project around 2027 and target wealthy individuals in Japan and abroad.”
