Pacific Century Premium Developments Limited (PCPD), a Hong Kong-based real estate developer, plans to build new villas in the Hanazono area of Kutchan Town. After selecting the contractor, the project team will begin land development of 14 lots at the end of July.
The planned development site is located at 348-16 Iwaobetsu. It is part of a 70-ha site owned by the company’s group and covers an area of 6.4 ha to the west of Park Hyatt Niseko HANAZONO.
Preparation of the land, including 1.6 ha for building that will be divided into lots measuring approximately 1,100 m2 each, is expected to be completed by the end of October. Docon Co., Ltd. will be responsible for civil engineering design.
Construction is slated to start as early as 2023 while the scale and completion date have yet to be determined. Kengo Kuma & Associates and Docon Co., Ltd. will be responsible for the design.
PCPD also plans to build 11 new accommodation facilities on a 6-ha site to the east of Park Hyatt Niseko HANAZONO.
As can be seen from fact that a part of this plan, Nikko Style Niseko NANAZONO, is now under construction, the Hong Kong-affiliated developer is actively involved in development in anticipation of the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
