Marumi Co., Ltd., a real estate developer (Minami 16-jo Nishi 8-1-38, Chuo-ku, Sapporo), plans to develop 39 villa lots and construct other buildings on a 10 ha site in the Hirafu district of Kutchan Town. Land preparation is slated to begin in May 2023.
Tokyu Land Corporation (1-21-1 Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Masashi Okada) and Tokyu Resorts & Stays Co., Ltd. (1-10-8 Dogenzaka, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Toshiyasu Awatsuji) plan to jointly rebuild Hotel Niseko Alpine in Kutchan Town into a new facility with a total floor area of approximately 30,000 m². Construction will begin this fall, and the new facility is expected to open in the winter of 2026.
Zekkei Japan (Minami 10-jo Nishi 14-chome 1-25, Chuo-ku, Sapporo; President: Shutaro Ishimaru) has decided to build a new hotel and sell 17 lots of land for villas as part of its INTUITION FURANO resort development project in Kitanomine, Furano. The builder of the hotel will be decided in the future, and the land for the villa will be put up for sale shortly.
Hong Kong-based real estate developer Zekkei Cosmos (headed by Shutaro Ishimaru, Minami 10-jo Nishi 14-chome 1-25, Chuo-ku, Sapporo) is planning to build a new hotel for sale in the Hirafu Area of Kutchan Town. Hoshino Resorts (headquartered in Karuizawa Town, Nagano Prefecture) will operate the hotel as HOSHINOYA, the company’s top luxury brand, for the first time in Hokkaido. Construction is scheduled to begin in May 2023. The contractor will be decided at a later time.
Hanamason (headed by Jason Sze), a Hong Kong-based real estate investment company, plans to construct four hotel and condominium buildings in the Iwaobetsu district of Kutchan Town. Land development is slated to begin in January 2023, and the entire project will be completed in December 2026. The contractor will be decided at a later time.
