Dragon Honest Holdings Limited, a Hong Kong-based real estate developer, plans to start construction of a condominium hotel with privately owned units, Powder Loft, in the Hirafu district of Kutchan Town around May or June. It is in the process of selecting a contractor.
The company will rebuild Fresh Powder Niseko, a condominium it owns at 183-38 Hirafu 1-jo 3-chome, Niseko. The new facility will have an RC structure with seven floors above ground and one below, covering a total area of 2,063 m2. There will be 13 guestrooms, including two of 130 m2 each, on each of the floors from the first basement to the fifth floor, and one penthouse of approximately 240 m2 spanning the sixth and seventh floors. It was designed by Makoto Nakayama Architects Co., Ltd.
A separate order will be placed for demolition of the existing building, which will take about one month starting in April, before construction of the new building will begin. After a winter break, the project is slated for completion by the end of November 2025.
